Donald T.
McDonald

Mr. McDonald is a seasoned financial executive with over 35 years Wall Street experience.  Mr. McDonald was also the Co-Founder and CEO of Consilium Global Research (CGR), an independent research firm founded in 2011 that provided traditional Wall Street research and strategic advisory for micro, small & mid cap public companies. He began his career at Shearson Lehman Brothers in 1984 in their Wall Street office.  In 1987, he joined Raymond James where he spent 14 years in their Equity Capital Markets Division as an integral part of their hyper growth phase.  He worked closely with their Syndicate Department placing IPO’s and Secondary Offerings with large institutional money managers throughout the country.  He was also a member of the Raymond James’ Presidents Club and Chairman’s Council. Mr. McDonald spent five years at Southwest Securities in Dallas, Texas on the Institutional Sales Desk placing public & private investment banking deals with high profile Institutional investors. He then served as a Managing Director & Head of Institutional Equity Sales at Jesup & Lamont in New York City.  There he helped formulate a strategy for equity capital markets.  Mr. McDonald was then recruited by C.K. Cooper – a boutique investment bank in Irvine, CA for Managing Director & Head of Institutional Sales. There he worked closely with the Founder regarding strategic plans, goals for the firm, and oversight of the sales division.  Don has developed an excellent reputation on Wall Street built over many years while participating in more than 100 investment banking deals.

Alex P. Hamilton

Alex P. Hamilton is a Managing Partner of Donald Capital, LLC. Mr. Hamilton’s 25+ year Wall Street career, primarily started in equity research at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse as a member of the Institutional Investor (II) ranked team.   The team was ranked #1 by II every year eligible and on the All-America team ever year eligible.  While a member of the team, he participated in 30+ aerospace/defense equity/debt offerings/IPO’s raising over $11 billion.  He later went on and lead as Senior Managing Director and Director of Research at Jesup and Lamont and EarlyBirdCapital (pioneer in SPAC’s). During his time in equity research, he was ranked a top stock picker in The Wall Street Journal’s Best on the Street Survey (2008 – 2010). He has also served as a guest blogger for CNBC.com and made regular guest appearances on Bloomberg, Canada’s Business News Network (BNN), CNBC, and Fox Business. Alex’s vast and expansive experience includes having been CFO and has gone through the process of going public as an operator.  He also currently serves as a board member of private and public companies. Alex is very active in investing and operating alternative investments.

Brad Morrison

Brad Morrison is a Managing Partner and as Chief Operation Officer leads and helps to develop teams to fulfill all Donald Capital business targets and objectives.  Brad draws on over 20 years of Big 5 consulting, corporate development and tech start-up expertise in the Telecommunications, Aerospace and Defense sectors to include founding and leading a multi-year fast growth Inc. 5000 listed IT company, the key chief executive in multiple business mergers & acquisitions and advising on several cybersecurity exits. He brings an in-depth understanding of bridging early-stage technology to product commercialization; enabling high performance teams; and developing entrepreneurial friendly capitalization structures for tech company growth, M&A and exit.

Education: Distinguished Graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Southern Methodist University, Master of Science from the School of Engineering and Applied Science

Managing Director - Healthcare 
Brian Davies

Brian Davies serves Donald Capital, LLC in the firm’s investment banking and advisory practice, specializing in the healthcare sector for private and public companies. Davies is located in Orange County, California.

Mr. Davies has 15 years of experience advising on healthcare investments as a consultant and investment banker. During that time, his focus has been on private and publicly-traded emerging growth companies and their institutional investors.

Prior to moving into investment banking and advisory, Davies founded and managed an outpatient surgery center, and was a board certified Hand Surgeon and Plastic Surgeon. His training included a Micro Surgery Fellowship with Ian Taylor in Melbourne, Australia; an Aesthetic Fellowship at New York University and the Manhattan Eye and Ear Institute under Tom Reese; a Craniofacial Fellowship at the University Hospitals in Cleveland under Bahman Guyuron; and a Plastic Surgery Fellowship at Northeastern Ohio School of Medicine, where he served as Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery. Davies has authored over 30 journal articles.

Tracie Tsukida, M.D.

Tracie Tsukida, M.D. joined the healthcare investment banking team at Donald Capital in 2022 focusing on medical devices, pharmacology, biotechnology, healthcare technology, and healthcare services.

Dr. Tsukida began her career at Tellson Holdings in Irvine, CA and worked more recently at Boustead Securities in Irvine, CA.

Juan Ortega

Juan Ortega joined Donald Capital in 2022 in the firm’s investment banking and advisory practice, specializing in the healthcare sector.

Prior to Donald Capital, Juan worked in the healthcare sector in outpatient/inpatient operations, occupational health operations as well as healthcare investments as a consultant. With deep expertise in large scale delivery system architecture bridging people, processes and technology, Juan’s passion for technology and solving complex problems has led him to create meaningful experiences in the private, public and non-profit sectors that nurture long-term financial sustainability.

Evan Spaulding

With over eighteen years of experience as a financial executive, management consultant, and business owner, Evan has developed a hands-on, collaborative, servant leadership style. Although his career began as a CPA, with both a BBA and MPA from the University of Texas, he enhanced his skills as a CFO with an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the innovative and prestigious Acton School of Business. In 2015 and 2016, he was nominated for Austin Business Journal’s Best CFO in Austin. Evan thrives in the growth phase of a business, and he enjoys coaching his teammates toward mastering their roles while creating an exceptional experience for their customers.

Harry D. Venezia, Jr.

Mr. Venezia co-founded HealthCare Capital Advisors after 13 years on Wall Street. His experience in healthcare investment banking and equity research at Raymond James & Associate, one of the nation’s largest investment banking firms, positioned him to launch HealthCare Capital Advisors in 2000. Harry manages the investment banking services for HCCA’s clients, directly working with more than 800 institutional healthcare investment firms throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. He also consults with clients to develop proper positioning prior to entering the capital markets. He is Series 7 and Series 79 licensed and has been designated a two-time Wall Street Journal “All-Star Analyst”. Harry earned an A.B. in Economics and Biology at Duke University. After being accepted to the Duke University Medical School in 1984, he decided to focus his career in healthcare financial services. Harry holds an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. His colleagues at the Duke Tampa Bay Club will attest he truly bleeds Duke Blue. Harry is an active alumni volunteer. In 2013, he was honored with the national Forever Duke Award recognizing his volunteer leadership with the Duke Alumni Association. Harry also volunteers in leadership and mentor roles for the Tampa Bay Technology Incubator, the University of South Florida Research Foundation, the Tampa Bay Innovation Center, and the Tampa Bay Technology Forum.

Davidson, CFA

Mr. Davidson joined HealthCare Capital Advisors in August 2001. He specializes in the placement of equity to the venture capital community, hedge funds, and private equity funds, and structuring strategic partnerships for HealthCare Capital Advisors’ investment-banking clients. Prior to joining the company, Scott served as a lead consultant with Allen & Company, a professional management-consulting firm serving clients throughout the United States. Prior to Allen & Company, Scott was a Research Associate in First Albany Corporation’s Equity Research Department in New York covering a wide range of companies.
